ABOUT B.A.D.

B.A.D. Teacher, M.Ed. spent sixteen years in K-12 classrooms before turning that experience into a body of work that examines the profession from the inside. What started as a way for educators to name the realities no one prints grew into a larger inquiry: what happens when teachers enter systems that don’t match what they were prepared for. Across three books, spanning preparation, workplace culture, and institutional accountability, the writing carries a documentary register drawn from lived experience and a journalist’s training. The through-line is the distance between what training promises and what institutions deliver, and what it costs the people caught between them.
